Stephanie Hawks

has had a long and varied career in design and theatre education. Stage design credits include Virginial Stage Company, Peach State Summer Theatre, Playwright’s Repertory Festival, Jacksonville University, University of Connecticut, Eastern Connecticut State University, Theatre at Monmouth and Acadia Repertory Theatre. Indie film credits include Bordando La Frontera, a Lobo Films production; Somewhere in the Midwest, a Dustin Whitehead production; and A Cross in Time, by Devlin Mann. Costume technician credits include The Goodspeed Opera House and Longwharf Theatre in Connecticut, Theatre by the Sea in Rhode Island, The Alhambra Dinner Theatre in Florida, and Virginia Shakespeare Company and Shakespeare by the Sea in Virginia. Stephanie has served as assistant professor of costume design at the University of Texas Pan American and Hampton University and was a full-time lecturer in theatre design at the University of North Carolina Pembroke. In August, 2022, Stephanie joined the Florida Repertory Theatre company as Costume Shop Manager. She holds an MFA in costume design from the University of Connecticut and a BA in theatre from the University of West Florida.
